Pre-term Birth
A JLA Priority Setting Partnership
The Pre-term Birth Priority Setting Partnership was started as a result of a project funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). This study is part of a wider research programme called ‘Improving quality of care and outcome at very preterm birth’. The project is being managed by the Social Research Science Unit at the Institute of Education, University of London, working in partnership with the JLA.
The aim of the Pre-term Birth PSP is to identify the unanswered questions about the effects of care and treatment for pre-term babies, as raised by service users and clinicians. Peri-natal and neonatal interventions will be included, although prevention will be excluded. Once the questions are identified, the most important will be prioritised by agreement between clinicians and service users.
The PSP is currently running a survey to collect unanswered questions relating to pre-term birth. To take part, please click here. Or go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/prembabies
The following organisations representing clinicians and service users are participating.
